Tennessee 811 is the utility system call center. You must contact them before digging in or around your home.

The Tennessee Public Utility Commission was originally called the Tennessee Regulatory authority (TRA), but was renamed by Governor Haslam . It is responsible for regulating the quality of the utility services that people in the state  receive.

The state of Tennessee's Department of Environment and Conservation website contains information about water quality and safety in our state.


The Tennessee Association of Utility Districts is the state's support system for water and wastewater systems.
